
The YBNLcrew lead byOlamide Baddoset a new record in the UK for the highest attendance of a Nigerian artist concert organized in the country.The sold out concert which took place last night was headlined byLil KeshandAdekunle Goldwho entertained over 5000 fans at theEventim Apollo in London.With the doors opening early,Dj’s Eni Money, Unbeatable, NeptizzleandSeanalongside theAcenoteBandkicked off the evening.Olamide came on stage and thrilled fans with his hits, however he was unable to givehis closing performance as the show had tobe stopped due to the large crowd outside of the venue trying to force their way in and with the venue full to capacity security had no choice but to close the doors refusing a hundreds fans entry leaving most of his fans disappointed.After the show, the“Who You EPP”said he was humbled at the record numbers of fanswho came out to see him, though disappointed at the fact that his fans didn’t get to witness the planned end of the show which he had been preparing for that took him months to perfect.The organizer of the show,Junior Adeosun-CEO ofSmade Eventssaid “all attempts made to ensure Olamide gave his final performance including offering to cover anysecurity costs to the venue was not possible as we eventually had to understand the health and safety concerns of the arena owners as the crowd outside continuously rushedthe door”.
